Role: Java Developer

This role supports the Communications Surveillance team (led by Vivek) and focuses on largescale data capture, ingestion, and management across enterprise communication channels. The emphasis is on email and Outlook data capture, integrating with communication platforms to reliably ingest and process data at very high scale.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Databricks, and AWS, and will help build and support systems that handle 20+ million messages per day in a compliancedriven environment.
Must have
Strong knowledge of working on outlook and teams data extraction.
Experience with parsing libraries such as Apache James, JavaMail, Mime4j, MsgParser, Tika
AWS cloud services (queuing, data processing, storage tiering, security, indexing etc)
Databricks
Java Full Stack backend and pipeline dev focus
Hands-on experience building streaming and batching services/products processing web scale data
Experience with sql and no-sql storage stacks
Good to have
Experience with security protocols/frameworks such as TLS, OAuth, OIDC, KMS
Exposure to building compliance applications
Polyglot programmers with expertise in both procedural and functional programming language
Experience in building ELT pipelines, and messaging stacks such as Kafka, Spark, SQS, Storm Experience with Observability stacks such as Proemtheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong experience with Java, Databricks, and AWS
Background building highscale data ingestion systems
Experience with streaming and batch processing
Familiarity with email platforms or communication channel data
Comfortable working in regulated or compliancefocused environments
Experience handling unstructured data at scale
