The Solutions Architect for Cloud, Infrastructure & Security services is a senior, customer-facing solutioning role responsible for shaping, designing, estimating, and presenting enterprise technology solutions for existing and prospective clients. This role partners closely with Sales/Account Leadership, Delivery, Practice, Finance, Commercial, and Transition teams to understand client objectives, assess technical requirements, develop commercially viable solutions, and support pursuit activities from discovery through proposal, executive presentation, and delivery handoff.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Strategy and Architecture
Lead the development of end-to-end solutions across cloud, infrastructure, security, and managed services.
Translate client business objectives into practical technical architectures, operating models, transition plans, and service designs.
Design solutions for hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, infrastructure modernization, data center transformation, cloud operations, infrastructure operations, and security-by-design initiatives.
Create scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions aligned to client requirements and delivery capabilities.
Coordinate with cloud, infrastructure, network, security, workplace, service desk, and delivery SMEs to validate solution feasibility and completeness.
Client Discovery and Pre-Sales Support
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, prospects, sales teams, and account leaders.
Participate in discovery sessions, solution workshops, technical briefings, and executive presentations.
Identify client pain points, business drivers, technical constraints, risks, and opportunities for transformation.
Present solution recommendations to senior client stakeholders, including CIO, CTO, CISO, COO, CFO, and procurement audiences.
Support business development through solution strategy, technical differentiation, proposal development, and pursuit support.
Proposal, RFP, and Commercial Solutioning
Lead or contribute to RFP, RFI, RFQ, proposal, and statement of work development.
Develop technical solution narratives, assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, transition approaches, service descriptions, and risk statements.
Build or support cost estimates, staffing models, effort estimates, pricing inputs, and margin-aware solution models.
Partner with finance and commercial teams to align technical solution design with pricing strategy and deal economics.
Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, competitive, deliverable, and commercially viable.
Managed Services Solution Design
Design managed services solutions for cloud operations, infrastructure operations, network operations, service desk, workplace infrastructure, and security operations support.
Define service scope, SLAs, KPIs, governance models, escalation paths, tooling requirements, staffing assumptions, and transition responsibilities.
Support development of transition and transformation roadmaps from current-state operations to future-state managed services.
Collaborate with delivery leadership to validate operational readiness, resource assumptions, delivery model, and service management approach.
Support handoff from sales to delivery to ensure commitments, risks, assumptions, and solution intent are clearly understood.
qualifications:
The ideal candidate has strong consulting or global systems integrator experience, prior hands-on technical delivery background, and the ability to lead multi-domain solution development across cloud, infrastructure, managed services, and security. This role is expected to orchestrate subject matter experts across technical towers rather than personally serve as the deepest SME in every domain. Job Requirements - Experience Level 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology, infrastructure, cloud, security, managed services, consulting, or professional services. 3+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, technical consulting, deal solutioning, or client-facing architecture roles. Consulting, GSI, or Managed Services Background 5+ years of experience in a consulting, professional services, managed services, MSP, technology services, hyperscaler partner, or global systems integrator environment. Experience supporting enterprise clients through complex technology solutioning, transformation, modernization, or managed services engagements. Solution Development Proven experience developing complex client solutions involving infrastructure, cloud, managed services, security, or related enterprise technology domains. Experience contributing to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, statements of work, solution presentations, and technical response documents. Ability to define technical scope, assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, risks, service responsibilities, and delivery models. Commercial and Estimation Experience Proven experience developing or supporting cost estimates, staffing models, pricing inputs, and commercial assumptions. Working knowledge of pricing methodologies for project-based services, managed services, transition services, and recurring revenue models. Ability to balance technical quality, client value, delivery feasibility, and financial viability. Client and Executive Communication Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Experience presenting technical solutions to senior management and executive stakeholders. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.
