Position: Sr. Network & VoIP Engineer (Cisco UC / Enterprise Networking)
Location: Waller, TX / Cypress, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Network & VoIP Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco enterprise networking and voice technologies. This role will own and support enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, security, and VoIP/Unified Communications across both on-prem and cloud environments. The ideal candidate is a full VoIP technologist with deep expertise in Cisco UC Call Manager, WebEx migration, firewalls, VPNs, and core switching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN/WLAN across multi-site, hybrid cloud, and on-prem environments.
• Configure, secure, and administer Cisco switching and routing platforms including Catalyst, Nexus, and Meraki.
• Manage Cisco FTD firewalls, Cisco ISE, and enterprise network security policies.
• Administer Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including NAT, ACLs, site-to-site VPNs, and client VPNs.
• Operate and optimize Cisco Wireless Controllers and enterprise Wi-Fi performance.
• Provide end-to-end support for Cisco Voice/VoIP environments, including:
• CUCM (on-prem Call Manager)
• SIP trunks, SBCs, QoS, dial plan changes
• WebEx migration and UC modernization
• Integrate and support cloud UCaaS platforms such as WebEx Calling, Microsoft Teams Phone, and RingCentral.
• Support Contact Center solutions including UCCX, UCCE, or WebEx Contact Center.
• Troubleshoot network and voice incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high availability.
• Maintain network diagrams, runbooks, documentation, and change records.
• Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and lifecycle refreshes with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure infrastructure operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Cisco Technologies:
• FTD, Meraki (switching), Catalyst, Nexus
• Wireless Controllers, Cisco ISE
• CUCM (on-prem Call Manager), VoIP/Voice, SIP, QoS
• VoIP / Unified Communications:
• Strong experience with Cisco UC and WebEx migrations
• Cloud UCaaS and Contact Center platforms (UCCX/UCCE/WebEx CC preferred)
• Security & Edge Networking:
• Fortinet FortiGate firewalls
• VPNs (site-to-site and remote access), NAT, ACLs, firewall policy design
• Juniper:
• Basic to intermediate wireless and switching administration
• Networking Fundamentals:
• VLAN configuration, routing/switching, HA/DR
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Strong documentation skills and ability to work cross-team.
