About the role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will work independently using intermediate knowledge obtained from previous applicable experience providing engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.

You will report to the Manager of Large Project Electrical Systems and Equipment for Electrical Engineering in a hybrid position based in Rock Hill, SC. We can entertain candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future

Responsibilities:
  • Engineering design and analysis
  • Software Packages like ETAP, Mathcad and Maximo
  • Plan and schedule to meet requirements
  • Interface w/ internal functional teams to obtain information to perform assignments
  • Evaluate and select standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents like technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications

Qualifications:
  • 4 or more years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Engineering design and analysis
  • Load flow studies, short circuit analysis, development of protective relay settings, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
  • ETAP, Maximo, or equivalent
  • Power plant systems and equipment
  • Procurement specifications for electrical commodities and reviewing new proposals
  • Travel required
