TITLE: Technology Contracts Consultant
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL
ANTICIPATED DURATION: Contract to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology-related agreements, including software development contracts, SaaS and cloud hosting agreements, cybersecurity-related agreements, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Lead or support RFI/RFP processes
- Conduct vendor evaluations and pre-bid meetings
- Perform market research and cost/total cost of ownership analysis
- Translate technical requirements into contractual language
- Partner with IT, cybersecurity, legal, and finance teams
- Ensure contracts align with enterprise risk, compliance, and governance standards
- Provide strong internal customer service to business stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree ideal but equivalent exp fine
- Experience in contracting, procurement, or strategic sourcing
- Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating agreements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and communicate technology concepts
Preferred Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- 3+ years of contracting or IT sourcing experience
- Experience negotiating technology-specific agreements
- Experience with SaaS agreements, cloud hosting contracts, cybersecurity requirements, and software development contracts
- Experience leading RFI/RFP processes
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $70.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
