Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Data and Domain Architect to design and deliver enterprise commercial data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce, Databricks, commercial data modeling, and Quote-to-Cash processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Finance, pricing, quoting, customer visibility, and commercial decision-making.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand commercial workflows, pain points, reporting needs, data requirements, and process dependencies.
• Translate business needs into scalable data models, domain models, conceptual architectures, integration patterns, and solution designs.
• Provide domain architecture expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce D360/Data 360, multi-org
• Salesforce harmonization, CPQ, ERP, pricing, quoting, customer, opportunity, contract, order, and financial data.
•  Support the harmonization of commercial data across multiple Salesforce organizations, business units, systems, and source platforms.
• Design and guide the development of commercial and financial data models that enable trusted reporting, analytics, forecasting, pricing insights, and downstream data products.
• Partner with data engineering teams to design Databricks-based data products, pipelines, semantic layers, and consumption-ready datasets.
• Work with platform and architecture teams to define integration approaches between Salesforce, CPQ, ERP, finance systems, data platforms, and reporting/analytics tools.
• Ensure commercial data products are designed for scalability, reusability, governance, data quality, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Create clear architecture documentation, process/data flow diagrams, data product definitions, business glossaries, and stakeholder-ready solution recommendations.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring solutions reflect real commercial process needs while aligning with enterprise architecture and data standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience with strong enterprise/data architecture expertise.

• Salesforce Sales Cloud – Commercial CRM architecture and integration.

• Salesforce Data 360 / Data Cloud – Data ingestion, harmonization, and unified customer profiles.

• Salesforce CPQ / Quote-to-Cash – Pricing, quoting, contracts, orders, and revenue processes.

• Databricks – Data lakehouse architecture, data pipelines, and integration.

• Commercial Data Modeling & Data Products – Customer, account, opportunity, pricing, and order data.

• SAP/ERP Integration – Enterprise commercial and financial system integration.

• Strong understanding of data governance, MDM, and enterprise architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or CDMO industry experience.

• Snowflake, Spark, Delta Lake, or other cloud data platforms.

• Salesforce Agentforce, Generative AI, or AI-driven commercial solutions.
