Job Title: IT Systems Engineering Specialist

Role Summary
Seeking a hands-on Windows Systems Administrator with strong experience building, configuring, and supporting Windows Server environments. This role requires the ability to independently provision servers, integrate systems into Active Directory, and troubleshoot issues using event logs, monitoring tools, and system diagnostics.
Windows Server Administration.
Experience building and configuring Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025) from installation through production readiness.
Ability to perform OS hardening, patching, and baseline configuration.
Understands Windows Event Viewer for root cause analysis (System, Application, Security logs).
Comfortable working incidents end-to-end, from detection to resolution.
Experience configuring and maintaining system monitoring and alerting.
Windows performance counters.
Service health monitoring.
Disk, memory, CPU, and network utilization.
Primary purpose:
To assist in installing and maintaining operations systems, application software, and system management tools including monitoring installed IT systems, cloud, and network infrastructure. To assist with providing network level verification and security to the IT organization and tracking system alerts and notifications.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assists in installing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Assists in monitoring installed systems and infrastructure for the organization.
Assists with upholding security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Assists in maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on tasks.
Provides remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix, and Hyper-V. Develops and maintains IT documentation.
Additional Functions and Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the organization's quality program(s). Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience Five (5) years of experience implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Skills & Knowledge
Knowledge of Cloud based applications, preferably Azure
Knowledge of virtualization and containerization
Knowledge of Networking (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
Strong organizational skills
Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports
Ability to work in a team environment Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
