Summary

Job Title: Business Analyst with Payment

Location: Charlotte, NC (Only Local)

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

Payment Business Analysis & Delivery

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Fedwire, SWIFT, RTP, and ISO 20022 payment processing.
Develop use cases, functional specifications, and user stories for payment system enhancements.
Partner with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Operations to deliver effective payment solutions.
Map legacy payment formats to ISO 20022 message structures for Fedwire Funds Service and international payments.

Process Optimization & Regulatory Compliance

Identify and implement automation and process improvements in Wire and Real-Time Payments workflows.
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and network standards, including Fedwire guidelines and the FinCEN Travel Rule.
Support fraud prevention, risk management, and AML compliance within payment operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

Serve as the primary bridge between business teams and technical teams to align on payment priorities.
Produce comprehensive dashboards and reports on payment volumes, operational efficiency, and compliance metrics.
Develop and deliver training materials and user guides for payment system features.
