Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Software Verification Engineer with strong expertise in DO-178C compliance, Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA), and avionics software verification. The ideal candidate will lead and execute verification activities while ensuring compliance with aerospace certification standards.

⚠️ Important Note (Mandatory Requirement)

This is an ITAR position – Only s can be considered
Recent and hands-on DO-178B/C experience is mandatory (must be clearly visible in resume)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of 5–10 engineers in executing software verification activities
Analyze software requirements and develop comprehensive test cases
Design and document detailed verification test procedures with expected results
Execute test cases on target hardware/software and document outcomes
Perform code coverage analysis (MC/DC, SCA) in compliance with DO-178B/C
Identify, track, and resolve software defects with development teams
Prepare verification reports including pass/fail criteria and deviations
Maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, design, and testing
Collaborate with system and software engineering teams

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

7–10 years of experience in aerospace software verification
Strong hands-on experience with DO-178B/C standards (recent and authentic)
Experience with Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA) and DCCCA
Experience with Hardware/Software Integration Testing (HSIT) and low-level testing
Experience with avionics communication protocols: TTP, ARINC 429 (A429)
Hands-on experience with DOORS and Polarion tools
Proficiency in C-based embedded systems testing

Preferred Skills

Scripting experience in Python and/or TCL
Experience in module-level and system-level testing
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Experience working in safety-critical and regulated environments
