Group/Division
The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
  • Influence Product Service Life Cycle (SLC) gives features that will optimize KLA Corporation business: retrofit, calibrations/diagnostics, Cost of Service, reliability, Preventative Maintenance optimization, Intellectual Property (IP) protection.
  • Details on the products to be supported in this role can be found below in the Product Overview section.
  • Build solid expertise in overall system operation, system integration, and system calibrations/diagnostics.
  • Sustain product's critical customer issues (including parts delivery, pricing, & special requirements), analyze data from various sources, and work with Engineering to provide a detailed plan of action (POA).
  • Assist KLA Service's training organization to revise and improve the knowledge and training infrastructure for mature products.
  • Spares obsolescence risk analysis and coordination with Spares Planning team to build and implement initiatives that mitigate Service supply chain risk, including closing known issues and collaboration with KLA Services Engineering and Operations team.
  • Work side by side with Operations Quality and Spares Planning Team to drive part quality issues from the field to closure.
  • Support planning for retrofits, including performing serviceability validation and resource availability.
  • The Instruments Business has a unique business requirement where product engineers also help with Requests for Engineering (RFEs), custom one-offs of our flagship models, by evaluating the serviceability of these projects as they are developed.
  • Act as key stakeholder in mature and volume PLCs to support products that have reached end of manufacturing as well as guiding any legacy products to end of service.
  • Ability to travel domestic & foreign up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Capital Reticle Equipment experience in KLA Instruments or similar Semiconductor Industry
  • Project Management Experience with demonstrable experience across multiple subject areas
  • Demonstrated experience with manufacturing control systems (ERP, PLM, etc.) and customer management systems (CRM).
  • Comfortable with data analysis to research a problem and determine what data are required to answer specific questions and problems
  • Understanding these tools: Python, Power Bi, SQL Server, Excel

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctorate (Academic) or work experience of 0 years , Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 3 years

Base Pay Range: $117,800.00 - $200,300.00 Annually
