Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in building scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with Capital One and strong expertise in modern backend technologies, cloud platforms, and automation testing.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Java (8/11/17)
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
Expertise in Microservices Architecture
Solid experience with AWS services:
Lambda
Fargate
EC2
ECS
Experience in Automation Testing (Selenium/TestNG/JUnit or similar)
Good understanding of REST APIs and API development
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Mandatory: Previous experience with Capital One
Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
Build and deploy microservices using Spring Boot
Work with AWS cloud services for application deployment
Implement automation testing frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices
