Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to support engineering and technology programs at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement system solutions that enhance mission-critical operations and ensure alignment with program objectives.
Essential Job Duties - Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and IT professionals to assess system requirements and develop solutions.
- Analyze current systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Support integration and testing of hardware/software systems across various NASA programs
- Develop documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate system performance and recommendations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in lab and operational environments.
- Maintain configuration control and ensure compliance with NASA standards and protocols.
- Participate in planning and execution of system upgrades and deployments.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training) Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2+ years of experience in systems analysis, integration, or technical support (NASA or aerospace experience preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools, system modeling, and documentation platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Skills and Attributes Familiarity with NASA systems, protocols, and engineering environments
Experience with lab operations, system testing, and configuration management
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data integrity practices
