Job Description

We are seeking an Application Engineering Manager Who Can Develop and deliver customer-ready solutions by optimizing onsemi content within customer systems and ensuring strong application management across customer engagements. Showcase onsemi's technology leadership and broad portfolio, demonstrating the value customers gain through integrated onsemi solutions. Enable effective application management to support adoption and performance, while driving cross-selling and solution-selling opportunities across the entire onsemi portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the integrate multiple onsemi technologies into complete systems.
  • Manage the development of schematics and layouts for reference designs and customer specific solutions.
  • Create documentation and collateral such as application notes, white papers user manuals and datasheets.
  • Support strategic marketing with reference designs/schematics/documentation for customers.
  • Support strategic marketing with competitive analysis.
  • Support strategic marketing with roadmaps and new product ideas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years in an applications engineering role
  • 3+ years in application engineering management
  • Proven success in product development, software, applications support and business development.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to metabolize a large portfolio.
  • Broad skillset including PCB level, hardware design and software engineering.
  • willingness to travel - 20%
  • Self-esteem, self-motivated with initiative and ability to work in a global team environment.
  • Ability to manage and motivate cross functional teams without direct report responsibility.
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
