SAP S4HANA Project Manager (Aerospace & Defense/ Discrete Manufacturing experience)

Description:
  • Aerospace & Defense (A&D) / Discrete Manufacturing experience: Prior experience navigating complex, highly regulated supply chains The Project Manager (Commerce & OMS) will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the digital commerce and order fulfillment strategy, ensuring high-scale performance and seamless integration with the back-office S/4HANA core.
  • Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris) and OMS implementations, including discovery, sprint planning, UAT, and cutover.
  • In-depth Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud: Including integration with SAP S/4HANA via BTP (Business Technology Platform) or SCPI, and familiarity with its application areas: B2B/B2C Accelerators, Product Information Management (PIM), and Smart Edit.
  • Order Management System (OMS):
  • Advanced Fulfillment: Managing complex sourcing logic, Available-to-Promise (ATP) checks, and multi-node distribution.
  • High Complexity: A&D sector requires strict tracking of serialized parts and split shipments.
  • Integration: Critical for synchronizing order status between the storefront and S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD).
  • Technical Guidance: Provide leadership in troubleshooting performance bottlenecks in the Spartacus/Composable Storefront or integration failures in the middleware layer.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate between business owners, IT infrastructure teams, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Familiarity with SAP Roadmap for respective scope (Customer Experience/Lead-to-Cash) and ability to define a target end-state and transitional plan within context of customer project portfolio
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including proven ability to communicate at leadership/executive levels
  • Excellent MS Office skills – in particular with PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams/SharePoint
