Position Summary

The Senior Quality Engineer leads quality engineering and test automation for enterprise Contact Center CRM platform, supporting critical service operations across Aetna and CVS Health.
The position emphasizes advanced QA capabilities, including API and UI automation, CI/CD enablement, and emerging AI quality assurance, with responsibility for validating AI-powered agents using structured evaluation metrics and LLM-based testing approaches. The role ensures end-to-end validation of CRM workflows integrated with Aetna core systems, with a focus on membership and benefit accuracy, reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for defining and executing modern QA strategies aligned to Agile delivery, driving automation-first practices.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of enterprise quality standards, automation, enabling solutions for AI agent testing.
  • Mentor Scrum teams on quality best practices.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional, performance, and reliability requirements across integrated enterprise platforms.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a quality assurance engineering lead , mentoring scrum teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with new QA technology and trends including QA test automation using tools like selenium, gherkins, Rest Assure, Java, apache poi, GitHub.
  • 3+ years' experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with product management tools such as RTC/RQM/Jira/HP ALM/Rally.
  • 1+ years' experience testing AI agents.
  • Strong understanding of AI evaluation parameters and automating testing AI agents.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Health care/Insurance domain.
  • Ability to innovate, display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness, generating suggestions for improving work.
  • Proven experience in working with onshore and offshore colleagues/contractors.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Experience in Salesforce software quality assurance.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
