Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software and equipment (i.e., Cell phones, A/V equipment).
Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM or other endpoint management solutions.
Ability to support networked printers and multifunction devices.
Knowledge of current communications devices, Microsoft OS and applications.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
Advanced verbal and written communications.
Must regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Works at different shifts outside of stated office hours as needed.
Flexibility to provide afterhours support to computer users throughout the firm by being part of an afterhours on-call rotation.
ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS:
The role reports to the Desktop Support Manager and works with all technology staff.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works directly with firm employees to provide services and help resolve computing problems.
Provides timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and eliminate downtime.
Processes requests for computer technical assistance and problem resolution from helpdesk ticket escalations and employees.
Collects detailed information to categorize requests to determine methods of resolution.
Exercises sound professional judgment in analysis of problem to: (1) attempt hardware/software solution or (2) escalate to the appropriate support tier.
Coordinates with vendors to arrange support services, hardware repairs, and replacement of laptops, desktops, and other equipment.
Manages computer deployments using Microsoft SCCM and communicates relevant services, processes, and procedures to end users.
Tracks and maintains an accurate inventory of all technology assets.
Performs level I system administration functions.
Assists with audio/visual technology support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Two (2) years of college-level education preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of work experience or equivalent combination of education experience.
A+ certification and Microsoft certifications preferred.
Experience:
Minimum associate's degree in the field of computer science or 3-5 years equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience using current business office technologies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
