Barclays Corporate Digital Banking is hiring for a new Director role: Principal Engineer - Data and AI.
The role holder will:
- Produce options analysis and propose technical decisions for complex problems
- Hands-on engineer beta / poc versions of GenAI solutions
- Demonstrate output to senior stakeholders
- Participate in Scaled Agile ceremonies to enable the AI engineering teams
The ideal candidate has:
- Deep expertise in GenAI, AgenticAI, AI ML
- Technical guidance and mentoring for a global community of engineers and technical architects
- Ability to lead and deliver targeted Proofs of Concept and use cases in a short span of time
- Scaled agile or similar framework experience
- Financial services experience
Salary / Rate Minimum: $ 200,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $ 280,000
