Stefanini Group is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer, to complement the technical capabilities of our Network team within the Infrastructure Services Division.
Reporting to the Network Engineering Lead, the Sr. Network Engineer supports innovative network solutions to advance the client's organizational goals and objectives. Closely working with the Network lead and Senior Network engineer team, our new colleague, will actively be working on supporting multiple complex technical projects simultaneously.
You will work together with our network team on a US Central time business hours schedule, Monday - Friday on site at client location in Plano , TX
Job ResponsibilitiesPlay an active role as a network security resource, and individual contributor.Collaborate with internal staff and the client's technical teams to support implemented network design, hardware, and technology.Implement LLD designed by the Network Architecture team.Follow and support KBs regarding troubleshooting simple and complex network issues.Implement capacity upgrades for client-supported network infrastructure.Maintain technical documentation and procedures.Establish and recommend policies and standards on network configuration and services.
7 + years' hands-on experience with deployment and maintenance of enterprise networks.5 + years hands-on experience with Enterprise Firewalls, managing and implementing Network Security frameworks.5 + years hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless Solutions and Cisco ISEGood understanding of Network Firewalls, VPN Technologies, NAC Technologies (Cisco ISE), WAF Technologies.Proven experience with Cisco FTD Firewalls, Cisco ISE and Wireless is a must.Good understanding with L2/L3 network technologies, R&S and Security Technologies.Good understanding centralized network monitoring and management technologies.Experience in troubleshooting network issues in multi-vendor environment.Very Good understanding of the OSI Layer model.Deploying configurations in accordance with the agreed roll-out plans.Working within strict timeframes and deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.Good understanding of routing protocols, with a preference for BGP, OSPF and Static routing;Good understanding of network segmentation and firewall engineering.CCNP level of understanding network concepts (VLANs, IPSEC, GRE, Firewall rules, Radius, Site-to-Site VPNs etc.).Proven experience and demonstrable success with maintaining and implementing multi-service networks.Proven experience with firewalls is preferred (Fortigate, Cisco FTD).Broad knowledge in overall IT Infrastructure and Telecommunications.Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.English proficiency, both writing and speaking.Strong planning and organizational abilities, paying close attention to detail to ensure quality in work delivered.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.Certifications or equivalent preferred.Exposure to ITIL concepts.
