Job Description: The consultant will act as an expert-level business analyst and tester for the
myCalPERS application, supporting both on-premise and cloud-based enterprise systems. The role involves leading system enhancement efforts through detailed analysis, functional design, and testing activities in collaboration with program Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs).<>
Key Responsibilities:- < id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-140">Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with technical teams and customer representatives.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-141">Documentation: Create and maintain business requirements documents (BRD), system functional documentation, "as-is" and "to-be" process maps, and design artifacts.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-142">Testing Leadership: Develop and execute functional test plans for defect fixes, change requests, and Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-143">UAT Support: Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with IT staff to triage defects and issues.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-144">Knowledge Transfer: Provide ongoing knowledge transfer to state personnel through regular meetings, documentation, and job shadowing.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-145">Reporting: Perform regular status reporting and discuss all work products with the contract manager.

Business Analysis: Expert-level skills in requirement gathering, JAR/JAD facilitation, and requirements traceability matrix (RTM) maintenance.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-147">
Testing & QA: Ability to develop test scenarios and scripts, execute functional tests, and document results.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-148">
System Design: Proficiency in functional design for enterprise and cloud applications.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-149">
Business Intelligence: Experience in testing and developing requirements for BI dashboards.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-150">
Process Modeling: Expertise in documenting and maintaining "as-is" and "to-be" business processes.< id="m_-5387099gmail-p-rc_e6b583406647dcae-151">
Security Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices, including malware protection, 2FA, and data privacy.
