Summary

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all IT audit mandates (including IT General Control and integrated operational audits) in accordance with audit standards and frameworks for IT management and governance.
  • Assist with information systems risk assessments as needed to determine where audit efforts should be focused.
  • Prepare draft findings and recommendations, and follow-up on findings.
  • Act as a strategic business partner and collaborate with management regarding internal controls, processes, and system efficiencies.
  • Participate in ad hoc mandates as required (in flight reviews, investigations, etc.).

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Decision & Information Sciences, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2+ years IT Audit experience is preferred.
  • Certification in information systems auditing (CISA, CISM, CISSP) or accounting designation (CPA) is desirable and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cybersecurity skills certification (i.e. CSX, CEH, GSEC, etc.) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple projects.
  • Analytical skills to support independent and effective decisions.

Travel Requirements

Ability to engage in limited travel to meet with stakeholders and team members, national and international travel, approximately 5-15%.
