We are seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator - Pressman Level 3 to operate high-speed sheetfed offset presses, including 6-color and 8-color Heidelberg Speedmaster (CD) and Akiyama presses, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for press setup, operation, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure consistent production and print quality.
Shift
Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM ? 6:00 AM
Pay
$25.00 ? $28.00 per hour based on experience
+$1.50 per hour shift differential
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate high-speed sheetfed offset printing presses
* Operate 6-color and 8-color Heidelberg Speedmaster (CD) and Akiyama presses
* Monitor press performance to maintain production efficiency and print quality
* Inspect printed materials during production to ensure they meet quality specifications
* Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with press equipment
* Perform basic repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance
* Work closely with production staff to maintain smooth pressroom operations
* Assist in training and mentoring lower-level pressroom employees
* Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
* Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
Qualifications
* Experience operating sheetfed offset printing presses
* Experience with Heidelberg Speedmaster (CD), Akiyama, or similar offset presses
* Experience operating 6-color and 8-color presses
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
* Ability to meet production and quality standards
* Dependable with a strong attendance record
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work overnight shift
