Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist 3 to support and maintain critical business applications and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot production issues, manage cloud-based environments, and ensure optimal system performance. This role requires a proactive individual who stays current with emerging technologies and delivers efficient IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops (Windows 10/11), scanners, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Monitor and manage ServiceNow ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution and user follow-up.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and TCP/IP network issues.
  • Support and maintain Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Assist in maintaining scalable and cost-efficient cloud environments.
  • Design, build, and support cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Utilize automation and provisioning tools such as AWS CLI and Terraform.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Support A/V systems, video conferencing tools, and other DDS applications.
  • Recommend hardware and software improvements based on organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Ensure data security, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
    OR Associate degree with 5+ years of experience
    OR Equivalent relevant experience
  • 2 3+ years of IT support experience
  • Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting
  • Experience with Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
  • Hands-on experience with desktop support and system troubleshooting
  • Experience using ServiceNow (minimum 2 years)
  • Experience resolving TCP/IP issues
  • Experience with AWS CLI, Terraform, or similar tools
  • Mandatory certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, Cloud+ or equivalent
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Experience supporting A/V systems and video conferencing tools
  • Knowledge of cloud computing best practices
  • Ability to identify trends and recommend improvements
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be local to Metro Atlanta
  • Must work onsite (no remote option)
  • Certification documentation must be provided
