Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Data Scientists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design and develop optimization models and analytical solutions to address complex business and operational challenges.
- Analyze large datasets, develop mathematical models, and apply optimization techniques to support data-driven decision making.
- Build, integrate, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications and optimization services using modern data engineering practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and support production deployments.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
3+ years of experience in data science, mathematical optimization, cloud-based application development, and analytical solution design.

Technical Skills
|
Python, Gurobi, AWS, Mathematical Optimization, Operations Research, Data Analysis, API Integration, Cloud Application Development

Business / Domain Skills
|
Supply Chain Analytics, Decision Support, Business Analysis, Optimization Modeling, Problem Solving, Stakeholder Collaboration

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing optimization solutions using mathematical programming or heuristic algorithms.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and enterprise data integration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with experience supporting business optimization initiatives.
