Business Analyst 4
Primary Location: Richmond, Virginia
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Business Analyst 4 for our premier client Richmond, Virginia.
Education and Experience
- Experience in a laboratory environment or in supporting laboratory systems
- Experience with software products including Word, Excel, Visio, and DevOps
Knowledge and Skills:
- Candidate will be involved in application discovery/training, requirements gathering, and QA testing. The candidate should have laboratory testing experience and/or experience with LIMS implementation.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall methods
- Assisting in STARLIMS configuration validation, test case development, and quality assurance activities
- Engaging stakeholders to understand their needs, provide updates, and manage expectations
- Analyzing data to provide insights and support decision-making processes
- Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and user stories
- Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
- Creating documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs
- Eliciting and documenting business requirements through techniques such as interviews and workshops
- Analyzing laboratory processes and identifying areas for improvement or automation
