In this role, you will help us design, build, certify, and deliver the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise. Responsibilities- Translate customer needs into technical requirements for future ArcGIS Enterprise software releases
- Collaborate with product engineers and development engineers on software project teams to build new ArcGIS Enterprise software releases
- Be a strong voice during design phase for server backend and UI development
- Develop and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, and verify code changes and bug fixes
- Review and analyze automated test results, report status on software quality and stability, and certify software quality
- Troubleshoot and triage customer issues
- Share workflows in help topics, blog articles, presentations, tutorials, and samples
- Be an advocate for the user and represent the user in product design and delivery
Requirements- 2+ years of industry experience in software testing or software development
- Experience developing and implementing test plans and test automation for web services
- Fundamental understanding of APIs and API design principles
- Fundamental understanding of web services including REST and SOAP
- Experience working with Python, Java, or other scripting languages
- Experience with test frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or Ready API
- Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements for the team
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related field
Recommended Qualifications- Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions
- Demonstrable familiarity with Python or JavaScript for troubleshooting and software testing as well as web protocols and formats such as REST and JSON

$76,960-$128,544 USD
