We’re looking for an experienced application developer who can build modern business applications, user interfaces, integrations, and automation solutions.
This is a hands-on development role. The biggest need is someone strong with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework like React, Angular, or Vue, who is also comfortable working with APIs and cloud services. You’ll have room to work across different technologies rather than being tied to one application or platform.
The team is also expanding its use of AI and automation, so there will be opportunities to work with AI-enabled applications and tools over time. AI experience is helpful, but strong software engineering fundamentals are more important.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain modern web applications and user interfaces
- Develop applications using JavaScript or TypeScript with React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks
- Design and integrate REST APIs and enterprise systems
- Work with Azure or other cloud services to build and deploy applications
- Develop workflow automation and system integration solutions
- Handle JSON, authentication, data mapping, logging, monitoring, and error handling
- Use Git, pull requests, code reviews, testing, and modern release practices
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues through production
- Build reusable components and help establish better internal development standards
- Work with business, engineering, vendor, and distributed development teams
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of software or enterprise application development experience
- Strong hands-on JavaScript or TypeScript development
- Experience with React, Angular, Vue, or a comparable modern framework
- Strong REST API and system integration experience
- Experience with Git-based development, code reviews, and version control
- Cloud development experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or a comparable platform
- Ability to take business requirements and turn them into maintainable software
- Experience troubleshooting applications and integrations across multiple components
- Strong communication skills and ability to take ownership of work through release
Nice to Have
- Azure Functions, App Service, API Management, or Logic Apps
- ServiceNow development or integrations
- Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI
- AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor
- Experience building AI agents, copilots, or LLM-enabled applications
- CI/CD and automated testing experience
- Experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams
Work Schedule
The team works a 35-hour workweek with core hours of 9:00am-3:00pm and flexibility around those hours.
The position will be onsite five days per week during the initial training period. After training, the regular schedule is hybrid with three days per week onsite in Nashville.
