This role supports net benefits. The manager is looking for an angular expert to fill a current lack of expertise on the front end. This person will be 100% hands on, as an individual contributor to help continue to build out NetBeneits and help other business units add customizations to the application.
The Role
This is a senior front-end engineering role requiring deep expertise in Angular and modern front-end development. The position is a 100% hands-on individual contributor role responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable web applications while helping expand and customize a benefits platform across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will have strong experience throughout the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, agile development, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience with Angular, Nx workspaces, monorepo architectures, and front-end best practices is critical, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and mentor other developers.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on front-end development experience (10+ years preferred), including extensive experience with Angular, modern JavaScript frameworks, and Nx. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills are important, as is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Additional experience with Ionic is considered a plus. This role is best suited for a self-starter who can deliver expert-level front-end solutions while helping drive technical excellence across the organization.
