Job Title: DO178B/C Software Verification Engineer
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled DO178 Verification Engineer to support verification and validation activities for safetycritical aerospace software. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with DO178B/C processes, embedded systems, and requirementsbased testing for avionics applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test procedures for embedded avionics software.
- Perform functional, integration, and systemlevel testing in accordance with DO178B/C guidelines.
- Conduct requirementsbased testing (unit, integration, and system).
- Perform structural coverage analysis, including MC/DC, as required by DO178B/C.
- Validate software behavior against requirements, architecture, and design specifications.
- Document test results, anomalies, and compliance reports for certification deliverables.
- Collaborate with software development, systems engineering, and quality assurance teams to resolve defects and ensure compliance.
Basic Qualifications
- Handson experience working with DO178B/C aerospace software standards.
- Strong understanding of software development and verification lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
- Experience using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for test automation.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN, ClearCase).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to modelbased development using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Working knowledge of aerospace communication protocols such as ARINC 429, ARINC 661, CAN.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and embedded debugging tools.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $ 88,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $ 120,000 perYear

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
