Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and distributed data systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and AWS cloud services, along with hands-on experience in modern data warehousing and ETL frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, transformation, and pipeline development
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark preferred)
Solid experience with AWS services, including S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, and Lambda
Strong command of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases
In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL frameworks
Experience working with large-scale distributed data systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools
Knowledge of Kafka, Kinesis, or other streaming data platforms
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Hudi
