Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to provide technical leadership, network architecture expertise, advanced troubleshooting, and project delivery support for critical enterprise and data center network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Cisco routing and switching, data center networking, LAN/WAN architecture, Palo Alto firewalls, routing protocols, and enterprise network design.
The candidate will work closely with internal infrastructure, security, operations, project teams, and third-party engineering partners to support network assessments, routing improvements, data center deployments, migrations, and network modernization initiatives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Provide senior-level technical expertise for network assessment, discovery, design, and routing improvement initiatives.
Support enterprise and data center network architecture, deployment, and modernization projects.
Design, review, and validate Cisco routing and switching solutions.
Review network assessments, architecture documents, designs, implementation plans, and technical deliverables from third-party partners.
Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, migration planning, and implementation activities.
Ensure network solutions meet scalability, resiliency, performance, security, and operational requirements.
Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, LAN/WAN, data center, and firewall issues.
Serve as a senior escalation point for critical network incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and develop remediation plans for network outages and performance issues.
Support routing optimization, migration, and network modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with networking, security, infrastructure, operations, project management, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Act as a technical liaison between the client and third-party engineering/consulting teams.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering and operations teams.
Create and maintain network diagrams, topology documentation, technical design documents, SOPs, configuration standards, and operational runbooks.
Provide knowledge transfer and technical mentoring to network engineering and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
Active CCIE certification — MANDATORY.
Strong senior-level enterprise network engineering experience.
Deep hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
Strong data center networking experience.
Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture.
Strong understanding of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls / PAN-OS.
Strong network architecture and design experience.
Advanced network troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Experience with network migrations, deployments, optimization, and modernization.
Experience reviewing and validating network designs and technical solutions.
Experience working with third-party vendors, contractors, and consulting partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong stakeholder-management and technical leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a complex, multi-team enterprise environment.
