HRIS Project Manager HR & Talent Technology

IDR is seeking an experienced HRIS Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide HR and Talent Technology initiatives for one of our clients. This role will partner with HR leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver programs supporting workforce transformation and the employee experience.

The ideal candidate brings strong project governance, executive communication, and the ability to establish structure in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex HR and talent initiatives from planning through implementation, stabilization, and operational handoff.

• Develop integrated project plans, milestones, governance frameworks, and reporting cadences.

• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and competing priorities across multiple workstreams.

• Coordinate delivery across HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, IT, Security, and vendors.

• Facilitate steering committee meetings and prepare concise executive updates and decision materials.

• Partner with stakeholders on testing, deployment readiness, change management, and adoption.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project or program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.

• Experience delivering enterprise business, HR, workforce, or technology transformation programs.

• Strong governance, risk management, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

• Proven ability to drive accountability and execution without direct authority.

• Ability to establish clear plans, ownership, and delivery processes in evolving environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting HR technology, talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, or workforce planning.

• Workday or similar HCM implementation experience.

• Experience with global deployments, job architecture, skills frameworks, or organizational transformation.

• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certification.
