ServiceNow Developer with HAM, CSM

ServiceNow Developer to support and enhance our ServiceNow platform within a dynamic higher education environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing solutions across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and Customer Service Management (CSM).

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development along with an understanding of asset lifecycle management and service delivery within a university or similar organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across HAM, ITSM, and CSM modules
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and integrations
  • Manage and enhance Hardware Asset Management processes, including lifecycle tracking, procurement, inventory, and disposal
  • Support ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
  • Implement and optimize CSM capabilities to improve service delivery and user experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (IT, procurement, facilities, and administrative departments) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT efforts
  • Maintain platform stability, performance, and data integrity
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases and recommend platform improvements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
    • IT Service Management (ITSM)
    • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server)
  • Solid understanding of CMDB and asset lifecycle processes
  • Experience configuring workflows, Flow Designer, and Service Catalog
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
