Water Logistics Associate I

Location: Midland, Texas (Hybrid)

Schedule: 9/80 Schedule. 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Length: 6+ Month W2 Contract

Role Overview

This is an office-based position responsible for the consolidation of water logistics activities. The role involves establishing and maintaining a defined network to execute commercial and logistical strategies for fluid hauling management. The position supports field operations by executing the fluid hauling and water disposal strategy, tracking trucking companies and jobs, and performing data entry. This role requires networking with internal operations, trucking companies, supply chain contacts, and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial support through accurate and efficient invoice coding in work orders using SAP financial software.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and internal personnel to ensure efficiency and accuracy on payments.
  • Provide assistance to internal and external customers concerning invoices, data management, and other audit requirements.
  • Work with water logistics technicians and other teams to ensure water hauling and disposal are managed appropriately.
  • Assist and support operations teams as needed in water transportation.
  • Maintain databases or use spreadsheets to conduct reviews of various data points.
  • Collect and record hard copy paper data from the field into electronic systems.
  • Create and submit work orders, purchase orders, and notifications.
  • Follow all company procedures and established guidelines.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in various office functions, including processing invoices, is required. A basic understanding of accounting concepts is necessary.

Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required. The candidate must possess interpersonal skills, the ability to build working relationships, and strong organizational skills. The ability to perform in a demanding office environment is essential.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional business education is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.


Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $20 and $22 an hour.
