About Arlo

At Arlo, we're redefining how people protect their homes and families. As a leader in smart home security, our portfolio of connected cameras, doorbells, and cloud services powers safer environments for millions of users around the world. We're scaling our data organization in the Bay Area to deepen insights across our product, subscription, and hardware experiences-fueling smarter decisions and a better customer journey at every touchpoint.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our fast-paced, insight-driven Product & Business Analytics team. In this role, you'll take ownership of complex, high-impact projects, provide thought leadership across business domains, and contribute directly to product, marketing, and customer experience strategies.

This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone with a proven track record of delivering analytical value in consumer tech or SaaS environments, particularly those with a mobile and/or connected hardware footprint.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze user behavior across our ecosystem of connected devices and subscription services to uncover insights, surface growth opportunities, and identify product risks.

  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks in SQL, Tableau and Databricks to monitor critical KPIs, including:

  • Subscription funnel performance

  • Retention & churn

  • Monthly active users (MAU)

  • Customer lifetime value (LTV)

  • Average revenue per user (ARPU)

  • Drive experimentation strategy-design and interpret A/B tests, collaborating with product managers and engineers to guide roadmap decisions.

  • Partner with lifecycle marketing to segment customer cohorts and assess campaign performance with clear attribution.

  • Contribute to event instrumentation design and data QA, working closely with data engineers to ensure high-quality tracking and scalable data models.

  • Deliver actionable insights through well-structured narratives, compelling data visualizations, and clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll Bring

  • 6-8 years of analytics experience, with increasing responsibility in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

  • Advanced SQL skills-you write efficient, scalable queries across large datasets

  • Proficiency in modern BI tools (Tableau and Databricks preferred; Looker, Power BI, etc. also valued)

  • Deep familiarity with subscription metrics and experience working with mobile and B2C datasets

  • Proven ability to lead analytical work independently-from scoping questions to delivering impact

  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams

  • Excellent communication skills-you know how to bring data to life and drive decisions

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in smart home, IoT, or hardware + SaaS business models

  • Comfort with Python or R for deeper analytics or prototyping

  • Familiarity with event-based product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel)

  • Hands-on knowledge of experimentation design and evaluation frameworks

Why Arlo

  • Join a company at the intersection of hardware, cloud, and AI-powered services

  • Work on meaningful challenges with real-world customer impact

  • Be part of a nimble and collaborative data team with global influence

  • Enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a public company

  • Thrive in a hybrid, Bay Area-based environment with strong executive support for data-driven decision-making
