Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to support and enhance critical enterprise applications, including the Florida Automated Nutrition System (FANS), Administrative Review (AR), and Florida Direct Certification (FDC).

This role involves full lifecycle development—analyzing business requirements, designing and developing solutions, maintaining existing systems, and ensuring applications meet evolving business and compliance needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and experience working in complex, data-driven environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level .NET applications
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Modify, debug, and enhance existing applications and system components
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in JAD sessions, design discussions, and code reviews
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system artifacts
• Support application deployment, release management, and CI/CD processes
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and best practices
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution
• Provide regular status updates and maintain work logs

Required Skills:

Experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core (6.0+)
• Expertise in ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, WCF
• Experience with SQL Server (RDBMS), SSRS, SSIS
• Frontend experience with AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, ReactJS
• Experience with Entity Framework, nHibernate
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps / TFS, Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and 3-tier architecture
• Knowledge of role-based security implementation
• Experience with Google Maps API or geospatial tools

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
• Familiarity with FANS, FDC, or Administrative Review (AR) systems
• Knowledge of government or public sector environments
• Experience with workflow systems and business process automation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Must pass a Level 2 background check
• Must complete CJIS certification and security training
