Base Salary: $225,000 - $435,000+ (commensurate with experience and class year; aligned with top-of-market NYC compensation scales)

Job Details

Relevant experience can include any of the following, we are hiring on multiple sub practice areas:
M&A
Private Equity
Investment Funds
Capital Markets
Finance / Structured Finance
Infrastructure / Projects
Restructuring (transactional)
Life Sciences / Growth Companies

What we are looking for:
3-9 years of relevant experience specifically within corporate M&A
Background from top-tier law firms or highly regarded national/international platforms, with exposure to sophisticated, high-value matters
Strong academic credentials, ideally from a top law school or with demonstrated academic excellence
Proven experience handling complex, high-stakes work (no high-volume or small-file environments)
Stable tenure with a minimum of ~3 years at each firm (no frequent movement)
Polished, client-facing skillset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills, with experience working directly with partners and clients

What you will do:
Advise public and private companies, as well as private equity sponsors, on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions
Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents
Manage deal execution and coordinate across internal practice groups
Work directly with clients on complex, high-value matters
