Volt is immediately hiring Senior Data Analyst in Lake Zurich, IL
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:

  • Design and maintain metrics, reports, and dashboards for Customer Financial Services using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Access, and other reporting tools.
  • Develop and track departmental KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Build reporting models that improve efficiency, automate processes, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of data discrepancies.
  • Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives and maintain data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data quality metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on business processes and data issues to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support customer master data integrity and reporting best practices.
  • Assist with wholesaler monitoring programs and ongoing reporting initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by evaluating and optimizing existing processes.

This is a full-time- contract opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Master Data Management, Data Governance, Finance Operations, Chargebacks, Rebates, Customer Master Data, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles and data governance frameworks.
  • Experience with data quality management, data cleansing, validation, and reporting processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Power Query, Access, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Healthcare, or Life Sciences industries.
  • Knowledge of Chargebacks, Rebates, Credit & Collections, and Customer Master Data processes.
  • Experience with SAP and Model N.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Python, Qlik, or other data analytics tools.
  • Understanding of financial statements and commercial data reporting.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $42 - $546 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
