Job Description:
As an experienced Senior Software Engineer, you will join an agile development team dedicated to designing, building, and delivering market-leading technology products. In this role, you will ensure our client's applications are built in a secure, stable, and scalable way, directly empowering customers and clients with seamless control over their products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team to design, develop, and deploy trusted, high-performance software features.
- Maintain and scale existing enterprise web systems while leading the transition to modern cloud-native frameworks.
- Design high-throughput, low-latency architectures using distributed event streaming and advanced caching mechanisms.
- Package, containerise, and deploy applications optimized to run smoothly on Linux and modern container orchestration platforms.
- Implement rigorous security standards across all applications, ensuring robust identity verification and secure data transit between API endpoints.
Technical Capabilities & Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience using C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET 7+ environments.
- Deep expertise in ASP.NET Web API for building clean, resilient RESTful services.
- Minimum 1.5 to 4+ years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET WebForms and ASP.NET MVC architectures.
- Strong experience working with relational data access layers using ADO.NET.
- Solid knowledge and integration experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven streaming.
- Practical experience utilizing Redis Cache to maximize application performance and manage state.
- Hands-on proficiency with Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI/CD pipelines and source control management.
- Proven understanding of building and configuring .NET applications for Docker and Linux environments.
- Prior exposure to Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong grasp of foundational Security Principles and secure coding practices.
- Proven experience implementing industry-standard identity protocols including OAuth and OpenID Connect for secure token-based authentication.
