Summary

Location: Allen, TX Salary: $95,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer develops and improves quality-focused manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment for new and existing wire, harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Process Development - Create and refine manufacturing processes for harness systems, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical products.
  • Work Instructions - Develop and maintain clear, efficient work instructions to improve manufacturability.
  • Technical Problem Solving - Diagnose production issues and recommend solutions for internal and customer-driven design challenges.
  • New Product Introduction - Lead engineering activities to transition new products into production.
  • Tooling & Fixtures - Design and implement tools and fixtures to support efficient manufacturing.
  • Equipment Improvements - Evaluate, justify, and implement new equipment purchases.
  • Change Management - Manage process and documentation updates driven by internal or customer engineering changes.
  • Drawing & BOM Review - Interpret and audit drawings and BOMs for accuracy.
  • Production Support - Provide expert technical guidance to production teams and collaborate with purchasing, quality, test, and manufacturing groups.
  • Additional Duties - Perform other engineering tasks as assigned.


Job Requirements
  • BS in Engineering or related field preferred
  • 2+ years manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience with cable layup/construction and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Injection molding experience strongly preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency)
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
