We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineering Specialist with strong expertise in Azure Active Directory (application registrations, authentication, and permissions) and Microsoft Copilot integrations. This role will be responsible for configuring and managing secure authentication workflows, enabling integrations between Microsoft 365 services and third-party platforms, and supporting the deployment of Copilot-powered solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure AD application registrations, API permissions, and modern authentication protocols, and will play a key role in ensuring secure and reliable connectivity between Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration tools such as Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
This role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, API integration, and enterprise identity management to support seamless cross-platform integrations and secure deployment of AI-powered collaboration tools.
Key Responsibilities: Identity & Application Management
- Configure and manage application registrations within Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
- Implement and maintain authentication and authorization workflows for enterprise applications.
- Manage API permissions, secrets, certificates, and consent policies for integrated services.
Copilot Integration & Deployment
- Support deployment and configuration of Microsoft Copilot within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Enable integrations between Copilot services and third-party collaboration platforms.
- Ensure secure connectivity and proper identity configuration for Copilot-enabled workflows.
Platform Integrations
- Design and implement integrations between Microsoft 365 services and external platforms such as Confluence and Jira.
- Configure authentication flows and service connections between platforms.
- Troubleshoot integration issues related to API access, authentication, or permission configurations.
API & Authentication Management
- Implement and maintain modern authentication protocols including OAuth and token-based authentication.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Microsoft Graph.
- Ensure secure access controls and proper role-based access policies for integrated services.
Administration & Governance
- Manage configurations across Microsoft 365 administrative portals.
- Ensure integrations align with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot identity or integration-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 administration and identity services.
- Hands-on experience managing Azure AD / Entra ID application registrations and service principals.
- Strong understanding of modern authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Experience configuring integrations using Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience supporting integrations between Microsoft 365 and third-party enterprise platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to authentication, permissions, and API connectivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying or integrating Microsoft Copilot services.
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365 with Atlassian platforms such as Confluence and Jira.
- Familiarity with enterprise security and identity governance best practices.
- Experience working with cross-platform SaaS integrations.
