Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting professional to support financial operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general accounting, cost accounting, and inventory management, along with hands-on exposure to ERP systems and manufacturing-related financial processes. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring product costs, supporting inventory controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support operational and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
2. Perform cost accounting activities, including product costing, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
3. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory accounting, including reconciliations, adjustments, and inventory valuation.
4. Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing reports and ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks.
5. Analyse manufacturing costs such as materials, labour, and overhead to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
6. Prepare and maintain financial reports related to costing, inventory, and overall accounting performance.
7. Work with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics) to record transactions and generate financial data.
8. Collaborate with production, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory control.
9. Assist with internal and external audits by providing financial data, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
10. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal financial controls.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
2. 4+ years of Accounting experience required.
3. 3+ years Experience in Cost Accounting and Inventory Management is required.
4. Experience working with any ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is required.
5. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is preferred.
6. Accounting Experience in a Manufacturing firm is preferred.
