Position Responsibilities:

Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations and rack equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time

Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies

Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies

Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities

Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and tear-down

Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems

Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs

Coaches and trains others

Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance:

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ year experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards

Minimum of 2+ year working in Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience.

Minimum of 2+ year experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ year experience working with Flight Simulation equipment

Minimum of 3+ year experience maintaining computer hardware

Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination

Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing

An Active US Secret Clearance

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range:

Level II: $53,550 - $72,450
