Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Lead with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and team leadership. The ideal candidate should have expertise in developing test strategies, leading QA teams, implementing automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team in planning, executing, and delivering high-quality testing activities.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Design and implement automation frameworks for web, API, and regression testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects using defect management tools.
• Review test results, generate quality metrics, and provide project status reports.
• Mentor QA team members and promote QA best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience with manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or UFT.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or ALM.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, or Retail domains.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Education

Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
