Summary

The SVT QA - SONiC NOS Test Engineer role is designed for a highly motivated QA professional with 7-12 years of hands-on experience in testing network operating systems (NOS). The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in functional, system, and performance testing across the full software development lifecycle, particularly within Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols such as VLAN, STP, BGP, OSPF, and EVPN-VXLAN. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive test strategies, executing complex test plans, performing system-level and interoperability testing, and automating test cases using Python integrated with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with traffic generators like Ixia or Spirent is required, and exposure to GenAI is a plus. Strong communication, collaboration skills, and relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIP) are also preferred, along with a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field

Required Qualifications

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field

  7-12 years of hands-on experience in QA or test engineering, specifically within networking products

Compensation Data

The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including by not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate. Salary Range: $90k-$134k Annually
