Role: MS Dynamics BC Architect / PM
Location: Dallas, TX (4 days onsite)
Duration: Minimum 6 months
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Integration Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other business applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in integration architecture, middleware platforms, APIs, and cloud technologies, with the ability to drive end-to-end integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect integration solutions between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, eCommerce, WMS, PLM, HR, and third-party systems.
- Define integration patterns, standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Lead the end-to-end integration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture, design, development oversight, testing, deployment, and support.
- Develop and review REST APIs, SOAP services, OData services, and event-driven integrations.
- Architect integrations using middleware platforms such as Azure Integration Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, API Management, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
- Ensure security, performance, scalability, and reliability of integration architectures.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across multiple systems.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, integration specifications, and technical design documents.
- Support data migration and master data synchronization initiatives.
- Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central product enhancements and emerging integration technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application integration.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV implementations and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Business Central APIs, web services, AL extensions, and integration capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including:
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure API Management
- Azure Event Grid
- Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, JSON, XML, and API-led integration architectures.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns such as synchronous, asynchronous, batch, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration tools.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
- Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Experience integrating Business Central with Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Shopify, or eCommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of EDI, B2B integrations, and message formats such as X12, EDIFACT, and cXML.
- Experience with event-driven and microservices architectures.
