WebMethods Administrator (Remote - USA)

Position: Senior WebMethods Administrator
Location: Remote (USA)
Duration: Long-Term Contract / Full-Time
Work Authorization: Open to all valid U.S. work authorizations except s (GC). Certified OPT candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Compensation:

• C2C: $55-$60/hr
• W2: Up to $70,000to 80,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced WebMethods Administrator to join our integration and middleware support team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience administering, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting the Software AG WebMethods platform in enterprise environments.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a seasoned professional who can independently manage WebMethods infrastructure, ensure platform stability, support production environments, and collaborate effectively with development and business teams.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years dedicated to Software AG WebMethods Administration.
• Strong experience administering:
  • WebMethods Integration Server (IS)
  • Universal Messaging (UM)
  • Trading Networks (TN)
  • My WebMethods Server (MWS)
  • Command Central
  • Broker Migration activities
  • API Gateway
  • Terracotta (preferred)
• Experience with installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.
• Experience supporting production, UAT, and development environments.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Hands-on experience with SSL certificate implementation and renewal.
• Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS is preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD deployment methodologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain WebMethods environments.
• Manage Integration Servers, Universal Messaging, MWS, Trading Networks, and API Gateway.
• Perform system health checks, monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and ensure high platform availability.
• Coordinate application deployments and environment releases.
• Implement and maintain security configurations, SSL certificates, and access controls.
• Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives.
• Create operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Work closely with integration developers, architects, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise integration environments.
• Exposure to cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Experience with DevOps tools and automation scripting.

Certifications

Highly Desired:

• Software AG Certified WebMethods Administrator Certification
• Software AG Integration Server Administration Certification

Candidates possessing Software AG (AG) certifications will be given strong preference.
