An established independent repair shop in Holmes, NY is seeking an experienced A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician.
The shop services domestic and import vehicles, offering a steady mix of diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. With low employee turnover and knowledgeable coworkers, technicians benefit from a collaborative environment focused on quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair domestic and import vehicles.
- Service engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and document findings in Tekmetric.
- Communicate repair recommendations and service needs to Service Advisors.
- Deliver accurate, timely repairs while keeping work areas organized.
Qualifications
- Professional experience as an A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience working on multiple domestic and import makes and models.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment appropriate to your skill level.
- Ability to document findings and communicate effectively with Service Advisors.
- Availability to work weekdays and some Saturdays.
B-Level Automotive Technicians
- Skilled in routine maintenance, general repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Able to complete routine and intermediate repairs independently.
- Interested in expanding diagnostic capabilities.
A-Level Automotive Technicians
- Skilled in advanced diagnostics and complex repairs.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and drivability diagnostics.
- Able to identify and resolve challenging vehicle performance issues.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $35?$50/hour, based on experience and technical skills.
- B-Level: $35?$42/hour.
- A-Level: $40?$50/hour.
- Pay Structure: Hybrid compensation plan.
