About the RoleWe are hiring experienced
Level 2 and Level 3 Data Center Technicians to support day-to-day operations in a large enterprise data center. These positions involve
GPU/server/network troubleshooting,
structured cabling,
rack deployment, and
break-fix support, along with
ITSM ticket management.
Technicians in these roles will work hands-on with dense compute hardware, large GPU configurations, and enterprise network equipment while ensuring infrastructure is built and maintained to the highest standards.
Shift StructureA-Side:- Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Nights: Same days (6 PM - 6 AM)
B-Side:- Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & every other Wednesday (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Nights: Same days (6 PM - 6 AM)
Key ResponsibilitiesDeployment & Installation- Deploy fully populated GPU and network racks (movement, baying, leveling, grounding).
- Install and label copper and fiber cabling (Cat5/6, SM/MM, MPO).
- Install servers, switches, GPUs, NICs, drives, memory, and accessories.
- Rack and stack hardware and assist with structured cabling layouts.
- Interpret BOMs and verify material accuracy.
- Install and maintain optical modules (SFP/QSFP) and perform fiber cleaning/scoping (SC, LC, MPO).
Break-Fix & Troubleshooting- Diagnose and repair issues with servers, GPUs, networks, cabling, and supporting hardware.
- Replace faulty components and manage vendor RMAs.
- Update firmware, configure IPs, validate connectivity, and ensure readiness.
- Assist with temporary rack-and-stack assemblies for configuration access.
- Support network teams with optics, cabling remediation, and port mapping.
Operational Support & Ticketing- Manage and resolve work via ITSM ticketing systems.
- Perform audits on hardware, consumables, and completed builds.
- Document activities using customer tracking systems, MS Office, and digital photos.
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and data center operational standards.
QualificationsL3 Technician (3+ Years Required)- 3+ years of hands-on data center experience (hardware installation, break-fix, cabling).
- Strong experience with GPU deployments and high-density compute environments.
L2 Technician (2-3+ Years Preferred)- Experience in data center operations with foundational break-fix and cabling skills.
- Familiarity with server and network hardware workflows.
General Requirements (L2 & L3)- Experience landing fully populated racks in enterprise data centers.
- Strong understanding of copper and fiber cabling (SM, MM, MPO).
- Experience with optical modules (SFP/QSFP).
- Comfortable with DC power systems.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift equipment as needed.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Top Skills- 3-7+ years of data center technician experience (depending on level).
- Experience with GPU deployments (preferred).
- Strong hardware installation, troubleshooting, and structured cabling experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $49.50/hr.
