Join an engineering team in ***'s intellectual property (IP) department which develops setups to test a wide variety of commercially available mobile products. In addition to designing and executing common 5G NR / LTE protocol stack test scenarios, the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in unconventional approaches to call scenario development and mobile device testing, enjoy working in a lab environment and have an affinity to develop practical test solutions. Candidates must have a proven track record in 3GPP protocol analysis and related troubleshooting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as great interest in new technologies.

Major responsibilities include:
- Detailed test plan generation based on high level test requirements provided by systems engineering
- Development of call scenarios across various cellular air interfaces to test commercially available mobile products
- Protocol testing in a LAB environment
- Post-processing, analyzing and presenting test results to engineering and legal teams
- 3GPP standard and specification research
- Identification of applicable GCF tests to show 3GPP standard compliance
