Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Procurement Manager to join a leading global organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated IT category strategies to optimize enterprise-wide spend and drive operational efficiency. You will act as a primary negotiator and trusted advisor, bridging the gap between internal business partners, legal/security stakeholders, and global software vendors.
Core Objectives
  • Strategy Development: Design and execute IT category strategies that optimize spend and enhance business value.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with global IT business partners to align procurement activities with long-term company objectives.
  • Negotiation Excellence: Lead end-to-end contract negotiations for major enterprise software and cloud services, including complex master agreements, statements of work, and service orders.
  • Market Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of global supply markets, emerging product innovations, and competitive landscapes.
  • Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with cross-functional partners-including Legal, Information Security, and Privacy-to ensure all agreements comply with corporate policies and minimize institutional risk.
  • Performance Tracking: Own the accountability for assigned categories, utilizing procurement technology to track savings, competitive events, and contractual milestones.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of dedicated IT software procurement experience, including extensive contract negotiation and red-lining.
  • Negotiation Proficiency: Proven track record of successfully negotiating both large-scale enterprise software agreements and niche technology contracts.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of IT protocols, procurement best practices, and supply chain strategy.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptive Mindset: Proven ability to navigate ambiguity within a dynamic environment to meet critical deadlines.
  • Soft Skills: A self-starter with a customer-centric attitude, capable of working independently while fostering a culture of credibility and respect.
  • Technical Tools: Familiarity with procurement management platforms (e.g., Ariba) is considered a distinct advantage.
